I love seeing old friends. I particularly loved seeing their old car. Anyone who knows me knows I am NOT a car person in any way, shape, or form. I dislike driving and try to avoid it as much as possible, and someday would like to move to a part of Europe where I can use mostly public transport. However, I LOVE Beetles. If I have to get a car, that would be the coolest thing ever. Too bad these friends are selling their 1970 VW Beetle now... when I'm trying to pay for college D:
To make up for it, I got as many photos of me with the Beetle as possible. Maybe my parents will be convinced I just look perfect in one? :P

Yeah. See how perfect we are together?!

Pretending to test drive. Yes, I drive stick shift every day anyhow, so the thought of a manual transmission doesn't phase me.

Onto the rest of the day's photography... I can't resist Converse shoes.

The playground nearby was great and--gasp!--we found a crime scene!

The victim.

Our drama queen viewing the victim.

Examining the next victim.

Canon love <3

Last but (certainly) not least, is Bear. Isn't he adorable? He's a giant newfoundland dog. REALLY hard to get this guy to sit still! EDiT: he's not actually my dog, but I sure wish he was! Otis, my boston terrier, still has yet to be featured here, but that's coming soon.
Well, back to researching selling on Etsy... some of my photography may work as fine art prints, so I'm exploring the option. Have a lovely day, peeps!

Thursday was my birthday--I chose a nice time of the year to be born (on my grandparents anniversary) but weather wise, it was terrible with about 95 degrees and 100% humidity :P
Undaunted, we set out for some gardens that are located downtown we heard were nice for a little birthday outing. Yeah, it was HOT. But at least I managed to get some photos out of this adventure!

Again, no idea what this thing was. It was some type of desert bush and it was HUGE and awesome looking.
Kat. She was really insistent that I get one of her walking away from the camera... it didn't come out half bad.- One comment • Category: adventures, birthday, flowers, gardening, photography

... I want to not be "wanting" so much. Every time I see destruction from a tornado in my own town, footage on the news from Joplin, or photos from a various disaster, I realize I have everything I want.
Onto more cheery things... I am going to interview myself! yeahiknowimstuckupwhatever
What part of your life do you want to slow down?
Uh... my age? Yeah I can't complain but tomorrow (my birthday) marks my last year of being a teenager and NOOOOO. I know that my life is going to go by crazy fast from here on out and I want to slam on the breaks! I don't have Peter Pan syndrome. He's a fake. The real I-am-going-to-be-young-forever kid is Puck, and he's a thousand times less wimpy than Peter Pan. /rant
What else do you want this week? Share it all.
I don't know what I want, except a job... I kinda NEED that. I've had one interview where they loved me but couldn't hire me because I'm going back to school, and one today where the person never showed up. What I WANT is a money tree. Or a scholarship... I don't want my parents to pay too much tuition for me this year.
